Choosing a Channel
The three profiles cover three mounting situations. The Picasso channel recesses into a routed groove 17.4mm wide by 8.2mm deep and disappears into the cabinet, which makes it the default for under-cabinet task lighting and closet shelving. The Dali channel sits in a groove 17.02mm wide by 10.16mm deep and throws its light at 45°, which is what a wine rack, a cove or an angled display wants. The Monet channel needs a groove 12.5mm wide by 8mm deep and backlights glass shelves up to 8mm thick for display cabinets.
All three take LED strips up to 12mm wide, and the aluminum body acts as a heatsink that extends the strip's life. Diffuser choice is about glare, not hiding dots: our COB strips are dot-free on their own, so pick clear or frosted where you want maximum task light and milky or opal where the glow should be soft.
The full decision walkthrough is in our guide, Picasso, Dali or Monet: choosing an LED light channel. Channels are stock 3000mm lengths at our Concord shop, picked up same day by cabinet makers and millwork shops across the GTA.
How to Order
We supply LED light channels as standard 3000mm lengths, not cut to order. You cut to length on site — the installation guide above covers the routing and clearances. The profiles are extruded from 6063-T5 aluminum and finished at our shop at 601 Rivermede Rd Unit 3 in Concord, ON.
There is no minimum order. Order a single length or a full pallet — the process is the same. Standard lead time is same day pickup.
All orders are pickup only from our Concord shop. We do not ship — aluminum profiles and glass do not survive couriers well, and local pickup is what keeps the turnaround short.
To order, tell us the profile, the finish and how many lengths you need. No cut list is required — that is only for made-to-size glass doors.
We supply cabinet makers, kitchen designers and millwork shops across the Greater Toronto Area — Toronto, Vaughan, Mississauga, Markham, Richmond Hill and Brampton — and throughout Ontario. Before Luxix, Canadian shops were importing these components from the United States and waiting a month. Read why we started.
